Akron, Ohio, Sept. 27, 2007 -- The University of Akron College of Engineering's 15th annual Engineering and Science Career Fair is Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Student Union.

More than 170 firms from Ohio and 30 other states will be present - 50 percent of the employers are UA alumni.

The fair is for biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, mechanical and mechanical polymer students and those in the fields of computer science, chemistry, physics, engineering and construction technology, automated manufacturing, electronics, and surveying and mapping.
