  Part 1 - General Session - (All Students Welcome)

  Part 2 - IT Professional Session - (Future IT Pros)

Enrich your IT Toolbox with Microsoft Technical Resources.
 
Talk to Microsoft employees on what the job market looks like and how you can prepare yourself for the real world as an IT Professional! Get set to explore a wide array of technical resources that will help you get more from your Microsoft products. From interactive webcasts to personal article libraries and virtual test labs, Microsoft has a vast range of no-nonsense technical resources that will make it easier to evaluate, deploy and support the solutions that you rely on as a future IT Pro, each and every day.

 
  Part 3 - Developer Session - (Future Developers)

Visual Web Developer Express
 
Come take a look at the latest free programmable development environment from Microsoft for creating Web applications. We will show you what you need to know to get started with Visual Web Developer Express (VWD), and look at the workflow involved in using VWD to build dynamic ASP.NET Web applications. We will also explore the various ASP.NET 2.0 server controls available in Visual Web Developer. You will begin to learn how Style sheets and Master Pages can be used to maintain consistent appearance for your Web pages. You will learn how to display data in your ASP.NET 2.0 Web applications through some of the new databound controls and learn about he GridView and FormView controls and how you can use some of the features of these controls to make editing and displaying of database content easier. Finally in this session, you will explore the new membership capabilities of ASP.NET 2.0. In addition, you will learn about role-based security, and how you can use roles to control access to your Web site.
