Madness - Meet with your mentor and talk over a spaghetti dinner at Akron’s
famous Spaghetti Warehouse.
Bead me Beautiful – Come join us in creating bead jewelry! Tell Heidi a week in advance if you
plan on attending.
SWE Regional
Conference- meet other women just like you are or have pursued a degree in
engineering. Take advantage of programs
geared to your professional development and network, network, network!
Kids Career Day- It is our 10th annual career day
and is designed to introduce non-traditional careers of science, engineering,
technology and mathematics to elementary school students. We need college volunteers so save the date!

Plant!
Picture Yourself an
Engineer Day- A day on Goodyear’s campus for middle school and high school
students that might want to see what engineering is all about. Registration is through Goodyear’s
website. Goodyear will need college
volunteers- so save the date!
Six Sigma - Michelle Ross, guest speaker and Industrial Engineer will present the basics of
Six Sigma to our mentors and students.
